This was today’s after-school snack for the kids. Nothing to write home about, just layers of angel food cake and lemon curd mousse…oh, and a little whipped cream on top. I know, not too exciting, unless you’ve been at school all day and you need a pick-me-up.
It’s what the cake is sitting on that got my attention earlier today at TJ Maxx.
It’s the cutest cake stand. Tiny yes, but perfect for those times when I only have a few cookies or a slice or two of cake left. I mean, two cookies look kind of lost on a big cake stand, right?
Another thing I love about this tiny cake stand is, its tall.
Really tall!
Tall, skinny and quirky just like me. At least I was once tall, skinny and quirky….
Now I’m just two out of three.
Life’s short, I think I’ll go have a piece of cake!
