Snickers Bar Pie

Actually, it’s a three Snickers candy bar pie and it’s good!

It takes literally five minutes to put together, and two hours in the freezer to firm up.

Here’s what you’ll need:

4 ounces of room temp cream cheese

1/3 cup of sugar

8 ounces of cool-whip

3 Snickers candy bars chopped into small pieces

1 chocolate crumb pie shell

Smucker’s caramel topping (optional)

Start by whipping the cream cheese and sugar until fluffy and light.

Add 2 heaping spoonfuls of cool-whip to the cream cheese and sugar mixture. Use the mixer to combine.

Gently fold in the remaining cool-whip and 2 of the 3 chopped Snickers bars.

Grab your pie crust,

This part is totally optional, but I almost always have a jar of this in the fridge for just such an emergency. Don’t buy it just for this recipe but if you happen to have some, this would be a great time to use it. You could also use chocolate syrup.

Add you pie filling to the pie crust.

Drizzle some of the caramel or chocolate sauce on top.

And sprinkle the remaining chopped Snickers bar on top.

Done, and that really took less than 5 minutes. Into the freezer for 2 hours and you’ve got a great dessert waiting for you!

Enjoy!

Caroline, I made carrot cake and oatmeal raisin bars for the Prez (two of his favorites)…now tomorrow after I pick up a few of these ingredients, I’m making this one for me!…:)JP

Don’t make it, if you don’t intend to love it! Like potato chips…you can’t have just one!
