Along came a spider

I’ve got a soft spot in my heart for spiders.

I always have. “Charlotte’s Web,” was my absolute favorite book growing up. I bet I read it ten times.

And just like the girl in the book, Fern, I spent most of my time surrounded by animals. I must admit, some of my best conversations have been with those with fur and feathers.

Why, just this morning I had to get involved with a pecking order dispute down at the coop. Chickens…..everyone wants to be in charge.

So with no further ado, I’d like to introduce you to the spider that lives between the columns on our front porch.

Funny thing is, her name just happens to be Charlotte.

Hope I didn’t give you the heebie jeebies.
